Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ticket Centro LLC, operating as ticketcentro ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our ticketing platform, websites, and mobile apps (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

NOTICE REGARDING CHANGES. We may update this Policy from time to time, as described in Section 9. The Effective Date above shows when this Policy was last revised.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plaintext password.
  • Buyer contact information — name, email, and (optionally) phone number you provide at checkout, including as a guest without an account.
  • Purchases — the events, tickets, and add-ons you buy, and your order and refund history.
  • Communications preferences — whether you have opted in to marketing email, and your acceptance of our Terms and this Policy.
  • Content you submit — answers to event-specific questions, and messages you send us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic device and usage information needed to operate and secure the Platform (for example, IP address and log data).

Payment information. When you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we retain only limited transaction references needed for receipts, refunds, and accounting.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • process orders, deliver tickets, and handle transfers and refunds;
  • send transactional and service messages — order confirmations, ticket delivery, reminders, and notices about changes to an event (such as a cancellation or reschedule). These are necessary to provide the service and are sent regardless of marketing preferences;
  • send marketing messages about upcoming events and presales, only if you have opted in, and only until you opt out;
  • prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the Platform secure; and
  • comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Platform:

  • Event Organizers — the organization hosting an event you buy from receives the information necessary to fulfill and support your order.
  • Service providers (subprocessors) — including Stripe (payments), and the infrastructure providers that host our application and store event images. They may process your information only on our instructions.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or us.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email with other buyers or unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

4. Marketing Choices

Marketing email is opt-in. If you opt in, every marketing message includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can also manage your preference anytime from your account's Email preferences. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about your orders. Marketing SMS, where offered, is a separate opt-in from transactional SMS.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. When you delete your account, we anonymize or remove personal details, except records we must retain for tax, accounting, audit, refund, dispute, or other legal purposes (for example, transaction records tied to past orders).

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To make a request, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity, and some data may be retained as described in Section 5.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including hashed passwords, encrypted transport, and scoped access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required.

The Platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above, and for material changes we may ask you to review and accept the updated Policy before continuing to use the Platform.
